. . . is one of the United States’ preeminent writers on network marketing. He was cofounder and senior editor of the Upline journal, editor in chief of Network Marketing Lifestyles and editor in chief of Networking Times. He edited and produced John Milton Fogg’s The Greatest Networker in the World (MLM Publishing, 1992), which sold more than a million copies in eight languages.

In the past few years, John has worked with Jeff Olson writing The Slight Edge (Momentum Media, 2005), with Paul Zane Pilzer writing The Next Millionaires (Momentum Media, 2006) and with Cameron Johnson writing You Call the Shots: Succeed Your Way—and Live the Life You Want—with the 19 Essential Secrets of Entrepreneurship (Simon & Schuster–Free Press, 2007). He has two additional titles in production (one with HarperOne and one with Portfolio) that will be announced later this year.

John has been a network marketer for more than twenty years; during the 1990s he built an organization of over 100,000 distributors, which generated sales of over $50 million and earned an income of more than $2 million. He is also a concert cellist and prize-winning composer; at age fifteen he was recipient of the 1969 BMI Awards to Student Composers. At age seventeen he cofounded a private high school in East Orange, New Jersey, called Changes, Inc.
